In addition to having stunning natural scenery, this beach has some typical small land offshore which is about 200 meters from the beach. The landscapes are named Gili Biaha and Gili Mempang, which are each about 100 meters long and are shaped like cliffs that meet directly with the sea. The largest land is Gili Biaha which covers about 3 acres and becomes a suitable place for snorkeling activities because it has very fantastic underwater scenery.

The beach in here is starting developed in 1983. In the beginning, the name of Candi Dasa is use for the name of a temple. The temple called Candi Dasa .Located on a small hill and built in the 12th century AD. This temple cannot be separated from the discovery of a statue Goddess Hariti. The statue is located on a niche at the bottom of a cliff hill. Hariti Goddess sculpture carved with 10 children who surround it, as a protective, merciful, and also as a symbol of fertility and prosperity.

How to get to Candi Dasa Beach?
This phenomenal beach located in Karangasem regency. If you depart from Ngurah Rai airport directly, it will take approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes, with the distance about 65 kilometers
